Today we're at the gigantic Doki Doki Flea Market in Makuhari Messe, Chiba Prefecture. Makuhari is about 45mins to an hour from Tokyo station, depending on the route you take. This annual event is held over 3 days during Golden Week at the start of May. Hadn’t been before so went along without any expectations and had a fun time exploring. Their website names it as the largest flea market in Japan, although there's also the gigantic and aptly named "Manmos (Mammoth) Flea Market" in Nagoya claiming the same title😄 My niche is Japanese traditional items, vintage/antique ceramics and home decor, however, clothes, shoes, toys etc. are plentiful at this flea should you be on the look out for those😊 Estimated prices are noted in USD($) (exchange rate in 2024) to help convert into your own currency. Thank you so much for watching and hope you enjoy the content🥰 For more Antique & Flea Market videos click here: • Antique & Flea Markets ************************************************************************************************************************ *🛒THE TOKYOTIQUE SHOP*: https://www.thetokyotique.com ************************************************************************************************************* 📍Makuhari Messe DOKI DOKI Flea Market 幕張メッセどきどきフリーマーケット Nearest station: Makuhari (JR Chuo-Sobu Line) Google Maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/Ea1qNKDaBEjWt... I’m Michelle, a half Japanese, half British Tokyoite🇯🇵🇬🇧who thrifts for both resale and for keeps . The focus is mainly on homeware, ceramics, ornaments and traditional folk craft. We will be visiting thrift/vintage/antique shops and markets within Tokyo, and beyond. "Tokyotique", a combination of "Tokyo" and "Boutique", was the name I chose for my Mercari Japan account when first launching a shop on the platform. I now also sell internationally from my online store at www.thetokyotique.com ✨ Hope you enjoy coming along with me to shops and markets in Tokyo, and beyond! ************************************************************************************************************* IG Tokyotique: / thetokyotique Japanescapes: / japanescapes Art Channel Michelle Nagisa Art: / @michellenagisaart #thrifting #thriftinginjapan #Japan #japaneseculture #japantravel #fleamarket #vintage #フリマ #thrifthaul #thriftingvideo #ヴィンテージ #骨董市 #骨董品 #フリーマーケット Video No.12
