Our guest experience at Herding Hill Farm. Award-winning 5-star glamping, camping, touring and luxury lodge with outdoor hot tubs, just 1 mile from Hadrian’s Wall in Northumberland, North East England. Tents welcome. Family and dog friendly Dark Skies campsite with spectacular stargazing. Choose from Wigwam cabins, luxury lodge, campervan hire, playground, petting farm, hot tubs, sauna, BBQ hut, shop and much more. Herding Hill Farm is the only 5 star site in Hadrian's Wall country and our location is second to none. We are only a 25 minutes walk from Cawfields Quarry on Hadrian's Wall and the centre of Britain town of Haltwhistle. The site was brand new for 2012. We are open all-year round and have a state of art amenity block which has a sauna, drying room, laundry room, covered washing up area, family/accessible shower room and is underfloor heated along with solar panels. We have nine 9m x 9m serviced hardstanding pitches with 16A electric hook up and drinking water and grey waste points and an additional four standard hardstanding pitches, 10 grass pitches for tents and a camping area for backpackers. We have the fabulous wooden wigwams, three large 5 berth, ten 5 berth en-suite wigwams, some with hot tubs and three 2/4 berth available to hire. We also have our luxury 3 bedroom lodge with hot tub. New for 2020 are our VW campervans which are available to hire directly from the campsite. You then have the freedom to explore! We have installed a site wide Wi-Fi system. Our onsite shop is licensed to sell alcoholic drinks off the premises. We also prepare homemade pizzas using only top quality ingredients which we deliver to your pitch. (The times vary over the year so take a look at our website) There is also a BBQ hut to hire, catering for up to 20 guests. Bring the children to meet our resident, alpacas, donkey, miniature Shetland pony, goats, chickens and rabbits. All guests have the option of hiring one of our firepits.
