Principal Community Route C6 - Australian National University to Dickson

Route C6 goes between Lake Burley Griffin beside the Australian National University to Dickson about 5Km north east. This route uses separated active travel routes. It is the first separated bike route built in Canberra, and it has remained fast, busy and successful ever since. The video has been recorded at nearly double speed to give more information in less time. As of February 2026, a good location for finding a map of the active travel routes in Canberra can be found here. https://www.transport.act.gov.au/__da... This map is HUGE at 33MB. It won't work on a mobile phone. Some, but not all phone apps include Principal Community routes, like OsmAnd. If you find a good free app for bike riding, please share the information!
