I was lucky enough to get to visit a small factory in Jablonec, Czech Republic where they STILL make these beautiful and delicate blown glass ornaments by hand. See how the baubles start their life being blown from molten glass, before being coloured and decorated to become the sparkly finished pieces you use to decorate your tree. The Liberec region of Czech Republic is a UNESCO heritage site, known for its glass production - which has been happening here for hundreds of years, thanks to the country's natural resources.
