I think my favorite plant is going dormant for winter

I started this oxalis triangularis “purple shamrock” in Jan of this year (inside of course) in the same pot that it’s still in. My mother had one when I was a kid, so it holds a special place in my heart. This is the first Fall/Winter I’ve had with a plant like this that goes dormant so I’m not sure what to expect, but we’ll see how it goes! I really want to dig up the corms and see how many lil baby’s it produced. I think I planted about 6 or 7 corms in this one. I planted them in a circle about 3 inches away from the edge with one or two in the center of the circle. However, new flowers are popping up close to the edge now, which means there must be baby corms where the new growth is produced, right? It’s gonna take a lot of will powers not to excavate this plant lol, but we’ll see!
