Anyways this is gonna be a long description describing all the components and motions required to reload this bullet properly. Quick disclaimer: we are not liable for any injuries relating to the reloading of this bullet if you decide to do this yourself. We started off the reloading process with brand new Lake City .223 caliber military brass casings you can use old casings as well as I showed in the video. We then calibrated the Lee Powder Measure Machine to ensure that every bullet received the identical amount of powder. We were shooting for 25 grains of gun powder per bullet. Once we calibrated the machine it was time to install primers. We used BR-4 CCI Small Rifle Primers for every bullet. We used a Lee Hand Priming Tool to insert each primer. Once the Primers were inserted it was time to fill with powder. we made sure to weigh and zero each bullet on the electronic Franford Arsenal Scale this insured that each bullet received exactly 25 grains of gun powder. Once the .223 casing were zeroed it was time to fill with gun powder. The powder we filled each bullet with was Hodgdon H4895 Rifle Powder. We then used the Lee Powder Measure to pour exactly 25 grains of gun powder in all 14 rounds of .223 ammo. Once the Gun Powder was filled it was time for the bullet. We were using Hornady 22 cal 52 grain .224 inch Boat Tail Hallow Point Match Bullets. We took our .223 casing that was filled with powder and added the Hornady bullet to the top. We then used a Lyman Turret Press with a Lee Seating Die to seat the bullet into the casing. Once this was finished We made one last quick length measurement with our Electronic dial caliper. everything looked good and there you have it a finished reloaded .223 bullet ready shoot.
