Recorded yesterday on July 10th, 2025. Both installed in the great room at my cousins house. Those 2 fans are in Matte Black finish, has 5 Matte Black blades, they are on high speed, they have 4 lights light kit, the lights are on, they have the included 4 clear incandescent light bulbs, 1 bulb burned out on both of these fans, they have 2 original Harbor Breeze pull chains, and those fans are from around late 2008. The chains were really high up so I wasn’t able to demonstrate these on all speeds. Those fans are original to this house and were installed around 2009 when the house was built. Information about the Harbor Breeze Springfields in this house: There were originally total of 11 of these fans, 4 blacks and 7 whites, 5 with oval pull chains (2008) and 6 with teardrop chains (2009). The ones with the teardrop chains have a wattage limiting device but the ones with the oval pull chains doesn’t have one. Btw the Wattage Limiting Device on Lowe’s ceiling fans were equipped on January 1st, 2009. All of the ones with teardrop chains (all whites) got replaced with new fans from Home Depot because there were quite a few of those fans that have light kit problems. Back in 2018 I have experienced 2 fans that had light kit problems; the light on the first one never worked and the light on the second one flashes, that’s because the wattage limiting device went bad, and those 2 fans were located in the 2 bedrooms upstairs shown in this video where the doors are. But the others might’ve had a bad wattage limiter or something (probably doesn’t match the rooms too well) so they replaced all 6 of these fans with the wattage limiter into new fans and they match the rooms a lot better too. They now have 5 52” bronze Hampton Bay Glendales and a 52” matte black Hunter Channing. All of the 4 Glendales upstairs were installed around 2018 and the other 2 downstairs (the Glendale and the Channing) were installed around 2023. And all of the Springfield’s with the oval chains that do not have a wattage limiter have stayed. I have been in this house for over 12 years when I was little and these are my childhood fans and they’re one of the first Harbor Breeze Springfield’s I’ve saw in person.
