Nanwan Beach also got a chic makeover with brand-new white umbrellas for visitors to enjoy the sun and the waves in style. With its clear skies and clearer waters, people flock to Nanwan Beach in Kenting every weekend. Many rent beach umbrellas and chairs while there. But it’s usually like this, with a forest of different colored umbrellas, some of which have numbers written on the side while others are broken. It looks a bit haphazard. To give the beach a classy new look, Kenting National Park and businesses plan to use a standardized new white umbrella. Visitors say it’s like beaches they’ve been to abroad.
