Prophetic dreams were had of his coming. The king in power was informed by wise men from the East that the messiah would be king. Soon after birth, he was given precious treasures, and the ruling king tried desperately to kill him. He was able to survive the king’s murderous attempt, and as a young boy he was found away from his parents, engaged in his calling. After challenging ruling authorities as an adult, he was crucified and killed. This is the history of Cyrus the Great who lived about 600 years before Jesus of Nazareth.
