Ponicova is a naturally formed cave.The cave is located in Romania.Ponicova Cave is the largest cave in the Danube Gorge. Its galleries total 1,660 m crossing the mountain and exiting towards the Danube. It is accessible by land or on the Danube by boat. At the entrance to the Ponicova cave, the brook of the same name creates short and wild gorges and a natural bridge about 25 m long and 6-8 m high. To visit are the active gallery of the Ponicova river and the archaic one, the room with The Great Serpent. You can also visit the guano gallery of Bats over 100 m long, 60 m wide and 30 m high.
