Mobs in Minecraft are great, but before you start up a mob farm, you should be able to answer these four questions: 1) What mob drops do you want? 2) How will you spawn the mob? 3) How will you kill the mob? 4) How will you gather and store the drops? They are lots of answers to these questions, and I won't pretent to cover them all here. But I will show off some modded Minecraft options. But most of all, remember to properly handle all the mob drops. Mob spillage can bring a Minecraft game to a halt.
