PLEASE READ: Getting ahead of the comments, yes, A.I. generation was used (in part) to create this video. That said, this took me over a month to make. It required a great deal of hands-on work: editing, curating, writing, sound-mixing, graphic design, hiring a professional voice-over actor, and spending my own money. This wasn't free ... and wasn't cheap. This faux trailer is a fantasy imagining of the WICKED film we almost got. Before the hit Broadway musical by Stephen Schwartz, Demi Moore's company Moving Pictures optioned the rights to Gregory Maguire's novel "Wicked: The Life & Times of the Wicked Witch of the West." At the time, Universal had a studio deal with Universal, who developed a non-musical feature film, with several script drafts, including a few from Linda Woolverton. This trailer is more faithful in story and tone to the original novel. Look out for little Easter Eggs and novel exclusive characters who make appearances (like Grommetik!) One last bit of trivia, Gregory Maguire told me many years ago that he had Angela Lansbury in his head as he was writing the character Madame Morrible, so I brought that to life. Please enjoy this for what it is: entertainment and fantasy fulfillment. We all know there's A.I. involvement here, and I'm being open and honest about that. So the lazy "Ai slop" comments are really lazy and unnecessary. We've all seen actual A.I. slop videos and pictures. This was created by assistance of A.I. as a tool but not completely.
