An effective Fruit Fly Trap for the Home Orchard | Reducing Medfly damage in Apples and other fruits

Simple homemade traps can help control the problem of fruit flies in our homegrown fruits. Reducing numbers of fruit fly pests, like the Mediterranean Fruit Fly (MedFly – Ceratitis capitata), Common Fruit Fly (Vinegar Fruit Fly – Drosophila melanogaster) and others species of fruit pests can be done using simple and effective homemade traps and Diammonium Phosphate as an attractant (not sulfate, as by mistake I say in the video), along with good cultural practices and good management of your fruit trees.
