It shares the same engine as the Yamaha R7, but is designed to be a more up right riding motorcycle. Is the MT-07 a good beginner bike? I think so! It tends to be a beginner friendly bike due to it's light weight build. It has the CP2 engine which is just like the R7 and comes with a full color TFT display with smart phone connectivity, dual front disk brakes and a 6 speed transmission. It doesn't get much better than that! In this video, we're keeping it pretty simple as they owner has already done a few modifications to the bike already. With Euro 5 bikes, the tune can be a little interesting, especially after changing the exhaust or air filter. Surprisingly enough, the euro 5 compliance bikes dump fuel at the top of the rev range to help cool down the catalytic converter. So when you swap our your exhaust or add a mid pipe to eliminate the cat on your mt07 or r7, it's important to get a custom dyno tune to fix the fuel dump that you no longer need.
