An incident occurred in the city of Donetsk on Sunday morning. Unknown persons assaulted journalists of Imedi Georgian TV-company. One of them is brutally beaten and has several seams in his head. Georgian observers are facing obstacles when entering almost all polling stations in the region. Along with this, five Georgian observers have already been detained without any explanations. One of them has been taken to the migration services with alleged violations in his documents. Due to the incident occurred in Donetsk, members of Georgian delegation have provided security to the Georgian journalists and the TV crews are moving among polling station with accompany of security guards. `Ukraine once again will demonstrate that it is a European democratic country, that it is a free nation, free people and free election. A lot of cynicism and lies were voiced towards the Georgian observers. Unfortunately, most of politicians consider the issue as incorrect circumstances of the 2010 presidential election. Georgia and our beloved Georgian nation are being used for purpose of people`s manipulation. This kind of attitude demonstrates who is who from our leaders, ` Yushchenko said. `It is unacceptable that any foreign government interferes in our internal affairs, and I would like to say to President Saakashvili that he should call back his so-called observers - we don`t need them, we`ll manage without them. And I call on President Yushchenko to fulfil his constitutional duty and protect the rights of the electorate and uphold the constitution of Ukraine so that our voters feel that there is law and order in this country, if only on election day,` said Yanukovich. Along with this, over 100 representatives of the organization Young Lenin`s Followers arrived in Ukraine from Moscow on Saturday. They were approved as observers by the Ventral Election Commission without any obstacles.
