World War Two was largely fought on two fronts - the Atlantic and European front with the Allies (Canada, the UK, the USA, and the Soviets) fighting Nazi Germany; while on the Pacific front it was Japan against the USA. However, it's a little known fact that the Nazis had actually brought some of the war all the way across the Atlantic, and left it behind. Kurt was a weather station set up at Martin Bay in Labrador, and then forgotten again for almost fifty years. Today, Kurt hangs out in Ottawa. Produced by Gerrit Wesselink.
