Let's walk around Domaso, a small town that stands at the mouth of the Livio torrent, on the north-western shore of Lake Como. Domaso is a picturesque town that lies directly on the lake and enjoys a particularly mild climate, constantly ventilated by the Breva wind, that makes it ideal for practicing water sports, both sailing and windsurf: for this reason Domaso is frequented by tourists from Europe all summer long. Domaso is also known for the production of wine: the Domasino wine is still produced in Domaso's ancient wine cellars, a white wine (esteemed back in the Roman age) the production of which is less than 2,000 bottles. Domaso is rich in facilities for welcoming tourists, all while maintaining the characteristics of its history intact.
