Here's a quick tour of the new Operating Room suite Ogden Regional Medical Center has created for Robotic Assisted Surgeries. Many surgeries can now be performed with the robot and patients generally experience smaller incisions, less pain and quicker recoveries as a result. Typical robotic assisted surgeries include: hysterectomy, prostatectomy, gynecology surgeries and orthopedic surgeries. Ogden Regional created the room to help streamline robotic assisted surgeries and to accommodate additional, specialized equipment (lights, monitors, etc.) that are used in these surgeries.
