Track 4 from their first EP “Feedback” released in 2004 copyright Anthem Records. It was recorded at Phase One Studios in Toronto. Consisting completely of covers of the songs that were influential for each member in their early years, it is nothing less than a triumph of aural ecstasy! Rush as a cover band, why didn’t I think they would knock it out of the park? It’s such a treat to hear their sound as the anchor in these great originals from the sixties. By this time in their history, the band had reduced their output, releasing a compilation album and two live albums, one before and one after this EP. This “mini” release received mostly excellent reviews. It reached No. 59 in Germany, No. 5 in Canada and No. 19 on the Billboard chart. This was their sixteenth cover designed by Hugh Syme, who would be involved with all their subsequent releases. Written by Pete Townshend and produced by David Leonard & Rush. RIP Neil Peart.
