Welcome back to another video, in the vital part of the season where Scunthorpe kept the dream alive of national league football next season with a 2-0 win on the road against Alfreton town. Alfreton started stronger however couldn’t finish their chances, Carlton Ubaezuonu opened the scoring with his 3rd iron goal tapping the ball past the keeper into the back of the net to open the scoring. In the second half we held on and in the 68th minute poor defending from Alfreton allowed Kian scales to find the bottom corner of the net to seal the win. With Brackley dropping points Scunthorpe went top. The top three are aiming to win the title however Chester are slipping, having to come back from 1-0 down at home to Warrington to win 3-1 but sit 2 points behind the iron with the iron having a game in hand which is next Tuesday at Kidderminster Harriers, I will not be at the game. Next for me is a trip to The Buxton silverlands stadium again as this time we travel to face farsley Celtic who find themselves struggling.
