Today for #WolfeRidgeWednesday we are showing the different box wedge options available from Wolfe Ridge. The box wedge is only available on the 35 SHO / 35 HDI configuration, and it uses a completely different main beam from our other horizontal log splitters. We visited Brent from Around the Yard and he let us make a bunch of firewood with all the different box wedge options. Standard size = 3.5" x 3.5" Current optional sizes: 3" x 3" 4" x 4" 4.5" x 4.5" In testing and development (and shown in this video): 2" x 3" 2" x 4" One thing to note about a box wedge is, the smaller the split size, the more chaff / kindling / debris you will produce. However you will also make a large amount of nice firewood, without the need to resplit from the pile.
