If it doesn't tear out the souls from those using it or accidentally send them to a faraway world with little hope of return, they're hijacked by an alien species so that they can try and conquer or eradicate humanity. The trade-off of being able to transport a banana across a room without touching it doesn't really balance that out, if you ask me. Fortunately we have someone to deal with the invasion this time around, a man who goes by the name Ranger. The last survivor of the ill-planned Operation Counterstrike, he's the last hope the planet has. With his trusty shotgun, battle armour and a whole lot of determination, he's going to take the fight to the entity only known as Quake, going up against corrupted humans and strange aliens alike in his effort to save humanity and all of this… in 3D!
