Strengthening Multi-sectoral Collaboration and Mutual Accountability for Safe Motherhood The 5th National Safe Motherhood Conference brought together over 1,100 delegates from across Uganda and beyond under the theme: “Strengthening multi-sectoral collaboration and mutual accountability for safe motherhood.” Over three days, the Ministry of Health, development partners, civil society organizations, community leaders, and innovators joined forces to discuss practical solutions to reduce maternal and newborn deaths reaffirming that safe motherhood is not the responsibility of the health sector alone.BAMA Foundation showcased its commitment to this multisectoral approach through grassroots implementation, capacity building, and data-driven accountability.BAMA remains committed to ensuring no mother or newborn is left behind for every woman, everywhere, every time.
