Phase Tracing: UHF radio in a tunnel with an iPad

Demo of the Phase Tracing interface on CloudRF using an iPad Pro. The glTF tunnel model was uploaded into the interface and a 450MHz radio placed at one end of the tunnel. The simulation parameters used high resolution (25cm), high reflections (18) and high density (60dB/m) to simulate reflections along the tunnel. As you can see it's not pretty once reflections occur and signals collide out of phase. This multi-path effect limits radio communications in tunnels severely. Another tunnel issue is doppler spread from reflections which causes signals to move in frequency and bandwidth. https://cloudrf.com/phase-tracing-int...
