This is a story of 5 mad men (Bharat, Ankush, Siddhu, Sanjay and Vaibhav). They are inmates in a lunatic asylum and are each battling their own lives and trying to accept what life has given them. However one incident changes everything and one day they are accidentally transported to the city. In a city where the thick lines between sanity and insanity are blurring, where we increasingly find people driven to madness in their rush to survive, compete and win, SHAHANPAN DE GA DEVA is a simple story of these 5 men who find themselves lost in the big bad world of sane people. One funny incident after the other make them realize that this world isn't too different from the world that they have come from and the people here don't behave too differently from their inmates in the asylum. However they don't have too much time on them as a vicious and sinister plan is being hatched to blow up the city. Their escape from the jail and a near fatal attack on their guardian, the kind hearted Dr. Subodh is all a part of this plan. The 5 men not only have to save Dr. Subodh but the entire city as well. How they go about doing this is what forms the rest of the story. The city is about to be destroyed... and its only ray of hope... 5 escaped lunatics.
