His message is equally of great value to all who seek to understand Ejagham's past, present, and future. As a pioneer indigenous Professional Ejagham historian, Senator Sandy makes obvious the fact that Ejagham holds a great civilisation that is yet to receive its glory in the global community of cultures. He urges all Ejagham to love and promote their identity. In his words, 'before we are Nigerians [and Cameroonians] or Cross Riverians, we are Ejagham first.'
