COURSE VLOG GOLF DE VAL QUEVEN COURSE VLOG PART 1 We are on our first trip to France on the channel and we have started at the beautiful Val Queven Golf Club which is not far from the town of Lorient in South West Brittany. Myself, Dan Hendriksen (PGA Professional), Lester Barnes (0 handicap) and Lee Whittaker (10 handicap) are playing a 6 point game which if a fun format when you have 3 players. Designed by Yves Bureau, the Quéven-Lorient course runs around the gently undulating Scorff valley, with holes beautifully landscaped around oak and chestnut trees. There's not a lot of water to worry about but there are plenty of bunkers and the relatively large but tricky greens. The clubhouse is warm and welcoming and has panoramic views.
