Blue skies over low lying cloud here in Noosa this morning. Still a bit of a gnarly swell on the bar. A 12 to 18 knot south easterly blowing. No boats heading out apart from a couple of jet skis and Mal Hunt on 'Granite Express'. BOM forecast is for south easterly winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas: 1.5 metres, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres offshore north of Maroochydore. Swell: Easterly 2 to 2.5 metres. Caution: Surf conditions may be more powerful than they appear and are expected to be hazardous for coastal activities such as crossing bars by boat and rock fishing.
