Mr Robot hacking lab walkthrough. In this practical cybersecurity lab we perform a real penetration testing scenario against the famous Mr. Robot machine. In this first part of the lab from Hackers The Rising, we begin a full ethical hacking workflow using professional penetration testing techniques in Kali Linux. The goal is to simulate how a real penetration tester approaches a target system, starting from reconnaissance and enumeration to gaining the first level of access. In this lab we use professional tools such as: • Network discovery using Nmap • Web technology analysis with WhatWeb • Vulnerability scanning with Nikto • Directory discovery using Gobuster • WordPress security enumeration with WPScan • Credential brute forcing using Hydra During this lab we perform: • Reconnaissance • Enumeration • Credential discovery • Initial compromise • Authentication into the system All demonstrations are performed inside a controlled cybersecurity laboratory environment for educational purposes only. This lab is the final project of the Kali Linux From Zero – Ethical Hacking Course, where we learned: • Reconnaissance techniques • Exploitation with Metasploit Framework • Web testing with Burp Suite • SQL Injection • Web fuzzing • Privilege escalation techniques In the next video we continue the attack chain to achieve remote command execution and full root access.
