Indie: Welcome to the very first episode of The Satirical Sessions. I’m Indie, Creative Director at Satirical World, and today is a massive day. We are sitting here just hours away from the official drop of the single that started it all. February 10th, 2026—the day the world finally meets V. V: It feels surreal to finally say that date out loud. We’ve been living in this "highway" world for so long in the studio, and now the first single is actually hitting the road. Indie: It’s fitting, isn't it? The single is the title track, "Valentine Girl," which is actually the third track on the album. As your manager and the person who watched you write this, I want to talk about the "Concept." People hear "Concept Album" and they think complex, but this is a human story. It’s a road trip. V: Exactly. The album Valentine Girl follows two people from the very second they lock eyes on Valentine’s Day. That first spark—the "honeymoon and romance" phase where you think the highway ahead of you is nothing but sunshine and open road. Track three, the single, is that peak moment of commitment. Indie: It captures that youthful "us against the world" energy. But as the Creative Director, I wanted the production to hint at what’s coming. We go from the romance to the "trials and tribulations" of young love. The middle of the album gets darker, doesn't it? V: It has to. Life isn't a straight line. We explore the points where the "love drifts away" and the "silence and the truth" start to take up more space in the car than the couple does. It’s about how vows made as young lovers on a specific February 14th hold up when the engine starts smoking. Indie: We’ve marketed this as a "Highway of Love," but by the end of the record, the road gets pretty treacherous. I remember when we were discussing the final tracks at Satirical World, we talked about the tragedy. Without giving too much away for the listeners, how did it feel recording that final turn in the story? V: Heartbreaking. To go from the "Valentine Girl" high to that moment where one of them is suddenly taken away—just as they are reflecting on those early promises—it’s a gut-punch. It’s a tragic end to a journey that started with so much hope. Indie: It’s raw, it’s honest, and it’s why we signed you. February 10th is just the beginning of the drive. "Valentine Girl" the single is out tomorrow. V, are you ready for the world to hop in the passenger seat? V: The keys are in the ignition. Let’s go.
