Looking for the newest battery tech in a portable power station? Something with a huge number of life cycles, that performs well in a wider range of temperatures, and allows for more capacity in a smaller more compact & lighter design? Solid-state lithium batteries promise all of those things, but do they actually deliver on that promise? Well Yoshino seems to think so - and they have delivered the first full-range of solid-state power stations and solar generators. Ranging from the ultra-portable B330 (241wh) to the B4000 (2.6kwh and only 53lbs). Of course the larger capacity models will benefit more from this new battery tech, and we will take a look at the larger models in a future video, but even this tiny B330 might be an interesting alternative to the popular units from the big brands like Jackery, Bluetti and Ecoflow. The biggest advantage for a solid-state battery in this circumstance should be cold weather performance, which is the one thing LFP (LiFePO4) batteries perform poorly at. But Yoshino does not mention this much at all - why not?? In theory these Solid-State NMC batteries should combine the best attributes of NMC and LFP (NMC is smaller & lighter with better cold performance, and LFP is safer and can be cycled more - with less degradation). So do you find this new offering from Yoshino appealing? If so why? Big thanks to all of my subscribers and thank you for watching!😁 ------------ Yoshino B330 SST on Amazon: (Affiliate link) https://amzn.to/49dEEq9 As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
