Hot off the presses we have a nice six table session of PLO $10 and PLO $25. Despite getting waffle stomped for 90% of this session I felt pretty good about my play, and was in flow pretty much the entire time. The action was pretty exciting in this session, especially on this one table where buddy kept stacking off every hand. We also end up with some decent stacks and with some big pots. Flow, if you are not familiar, is a heightened mental state of peak performance. Very useful for poker. Anyway, although I was in flow, this video is not about flow. It is just me playing poker. Specifically six card PLO on PokerStars. There is over an hour of footage here, but the session itself was probably 2 or 2.5 hours long. I pause the recorder between hands for your convenience. Playing 6 tables simultaneously, I got into a good number of spots, so there are a lot of decisions to review. This video should be of interest to anyone who plays pot limit omaha, especially PLO 6. Liveplay videos such as this one are a good way to improve your game. However just passively watching will not do that much for you. It will help some probably, but what you really want to do is critically engage. Think about the decisions I am making. Was I right or wrong in my decision? Why or why not? Six Card PLO is a variant of poker where you get six cards and have to play your best two. It is a pretty wild game, because with 6 hole cards you can make all sorts of wacky combinations of hands.
