Close of Rousseff STORYLINE President Vladimir Putin praised Russia's relations with Brazil on Friday, laying the groundwork for future cooperation between the two countries during a meeting with Brazil's president, Dilma Rousseff. Following talks in the Kremlin with Rousseff, the Russian leader said Russia and Brazil aim to broaden their investment opportunities by joining forces in sectors as diverse as industry, infrastructure, energy and aerospace. Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff also lauded the potential for cooperation and trade diversification in various sectors between the two countries. President Putin presented his Brazilian counterpart with a bouquet of flowers to commemorate her birthday, which fell on the day of her visit.
