This time i am back with the current trend of Vietnam. To be honest, it's a lovely country and a beautiful place to visit! However, it is not that great as it has been usually projected or portrayed on social media. To be brutally honest, Vietnm has 3-4 amazing places to visit and rest all are add ons. If you are tight on no. of days, you can focus on the top destinations in Vietnam and believe me, you would have not missed on any thing! Sharing below my experience and do's and dont's, it might be different for someone else. Sharing spots to be visited: 1. Hanoi - Beer Street, Train Street and Tran Quoc Pagoda 2. Halong Bay - 200% Worth the hype. Plan an overnight stay at cruise 3. Tran An - Amazingly awesome boat ride under the karst mountrains 4. Da Nang - Golden Bridge (BaNa Hills) 5. Hoi An - Coconut Forest Basket Boat Ride Places which can be avoided or can be add ons (If you have extra time)- 1. SaPa- Honestly, it's not that great! you find ultimate places beyond comaprison to SaPa. Not worth spending that much amount for the experience there. 2. Ninh Binh - Bai Dinh Pagoda can be surely avoided along with Mua Cave. Both are add on places. 3. Da Nang - Don't waste time in sunworld fantasy park, staright away go for Golden Bridge. Rides at fantasy park are more suited for children. Most of the time French village remians closed, Fountain is under maintainance or some or the other obstruction. 4. Hoi An- Hoi An boating in river and night market is absolutely not worth the hype. It's too crowded and unregulated. 5. Marble Mountain - Please avoid. not worth the pain to climb the mountain to see hollow sculptures. It's a little mountain standing right in middle of town and is packed again due to hype rather than actual value. Sapa Hanoi 6. Phu Quoc - Awesome for beach parties nothing else.If you want to have a feel of beach area in vietnam, you can get the same feel at My Khe Beach, DaNang without adding one more destination and cost to your list. 7. Ho Chi Minh - If interested in history, then only visit the palce to see WW-II ruins. Also a good place for shopping. apart from this no other attractions.
