This is our second trip with Ryan Caroll and it just keeps getting better. Follow him if you don't!!!! @ryanfishinghi Huge Mahalo to Ryan for making this happen and keeping my boy safe!!! We hit a zone where the Uluas were crazy hungry and not just them. They got a monster Barracuda, an Uku on a hang neck and a ton of other action. We kept all the fish alive in the tide pool and released all the healthy fish in the morning. The big Ulua came home and Ryan is having a friend smoke it soooo we will let you know how that turns out!!! I do want to let you all know the safty steps we take aside from having a boat just off shore incase there is a problem. We have an epirb with us, a float and line to throw to someone if they fall in. Lots of lights for good visibility, phones, and a radio to contact the boat if there is a problem. We also scout the areas to see where the safe spots are to get out if you do go in....we try to have 2-3 spots per place so you always can get out with help. The main think is coming home....coming home with fish is just the bonus. Be saft, God bless, and GO GETTEM!!!
