DIY CO2 Reactor/Diffuser for planted turtle tank
This video describes my DIY CO2 reactor and diffuser setup for my planted turtle tank. Few things to note: 1) I live in SWFL and I'm on well water so my tank doesn't contain an ounce of chlorine or any chemicals that come from typical tap water. My well system runs through a softener that adds salt and removes the sulfer bacteria from the ground water. 2) I've tried adding Seachem Flourish to my tank as well as increasing/decreasing the light output but that just seems to stimulate the algae growth which means my plants are competing for nutrients. 3) I'm no expert. I'm just a guy with access to the internet and knows how to handle a power drill. If anyone has suggestions or better information, feel free to share!
