What is there to do once you're there? Where to stay? It's all right here 🙌🏼 Everything we wish we knew before we visited the Togean Islands in Sulawesi. In this Vlog we mentioned that we would include a bit of information in the description about the Snorkelling spots we visited. Most we don't have a location for, but luckily we do know the best one! Palau Papan is a small island linked to another island by a long wooden bridge. Under this bridge is where you can find some of the best snorkelling around the Togean Islands. The whole of Togean is still a snorkelling paradise, the best thing is to find a fisherman and have him take you to some amazing spots. We explained how to get to the Togean Islands from Ampana or Minadao. If you want to reach the Togean Islands from Gorontalo then it is a 14-hour boat that does not run everyday. As far as we know the boat from Gorontalo to Wakai is on Tuesdays and Fridays, and then Wakai to Gorontalo is Monday's and Thursdays. Make sure to check yourself directly beforehand.
