National Long Term Care Workforce Network — Meeting #11

The Council of State Governments (CSG), with the support of The Commonwealth Fund, has convened a National Long-Term Care Workforce Network of state policymakers and stakeholders from around the country to discuss state policy options to address the challenges facing the long-term care workforce. During this 11th meeting of the Network, we'll get an update on the work of the Moving Forward Nursing Home Quality Coalition, including the group's long-term care workforce-focused initiatives. Among the presenters will be Coalition Chair Alice Bonner, Betsy White of the Brown University School of Public Health, Jasmine Travers of the New York University College of Nursing, Jenna Kellerman of LeadingAge and Kezia Scales of PHI. The Moving Forward team first participated in a Network webinar in April 2023. Convenings of the Network build on the work of an eight-state task force that in 2022 helped guide the development of the CSG Long-Term Care Policy Guide.
