Autonomy in Addiction: The Harm Reduction Treatment Model

In this video, we will explore the challenges and barriers to treatment that prevent those seeking treatment for addiction from receiving such care. Additionally, we will examine the opioid crisis in Canada, the biological implications of drug use and withdrawal, and current treatments for addiction. Finally, we will explore the harm reduction model, its history, impact, implications for those who have developed an addiction, and the feasibility of its implementation globally.
