The first thing to know, is that All types of Panadol formulations contain Paracetamol. which is one of the most widely used non-prescription medicines. It is an analgesic (painkiller) that also reduces fever. It's believed to work primarily via its effects on the central nervous system (brain) to reduce the nerve transmission of pain signals and reduce fever. Paracetamol reduces pain and fever but has little effect in relieving inflammation. As a result, paracetamol is not associated with many of the side effects that may occur with anti-inflammatory medications. So Panadol is indicated for the temporary relief of pain and discomfort associated with headache, tension headache, migraine headache, osteoarthritis, arthritis, toothache, dental pain, muscular aches, sore throat and period pain, and some formulations are used in the management of cold & flu symptoms.
