With just days away from the start of the OFC Conference in San Diego and the Optica Executive Forum (25th March) https://lnkd.in/dPVsszxT, one spinoff from Eindhoven University of Technology has come out of stealth mode to reveal their practical photonic integration for CV-QKD systems. The company is new Optica corporate member CubiQ Technoologies. Their work will mean easy implementation of quantum secure communication very soon. OFC is famous for launching breakthrough world-class technologies (remember NewPhotonics?) Now I have come to Eindhoven to see what’s going on inside the famous hashtag#FLUX building which has become the home of photonics innovation in the Brainport Eindhoven region. Just ask PhotonDelta. Of course, I wanted to see and film a live demo first-hand because serious investors and foundries want to see something ready to scale and manufacture in volume.
