The Dirac | Offline and Online raid ready (2x1 Expansion) Build Server: Builder’s Sanctuary 3.0 Build Code: K49F68KR The 2x1 is without a doubt the most popular starter base in Rust. But most full bases that use the 2x1 starter footprint all share the same flaw - a cheap raid path by booming into the jump up from core. I think I have solved this with my 2x1 expansion. Built for 3–5 players, the Dirac offers smooth early-wipe progression, 4 hidden bunkers in the open core, and 10 places to put your beds, kits, and retake the base from. There's even a cheeky angle that opens up as the base is raided that I’m sure will spell the end for some poor chap who decides to raid you. Key Features 2x1 starter footprint Early game stair bunker Easy progression stages for vanilla wipes Early-game friendly externals Four hidden bunkers spread through the honeycombed open core MLRS-protected roof turrets and strong top-down control Raid Cost (minimums) 31 rockets to TC & core loot 54 rockets of grief protection 85 rockets to all main loot (including primary bedrooms) 100+ rockets for a full raid Why “The Dirac”? I name my bases after influential scientists and mathematicians. Paul Dirac is not someone most people would have heard about, but I highly recommend learning more about him. My favorite Veritasium videos almost always feature or reference Dirac.
