Join us as we show you exactly what the Roadtrip Crew was up to this weekend! On Saturday, March 26 we were privileged to be hosted at Garden River First Nation, where we chatted with Aaron Jones, Fish and Wildlife Coordinator, about the invasive sea lamprey and the importance of Traditional Environmental Knowledge (TEK) when it comes to tracking and managing this species. http://www.gardenriver.org/site/ Note for teachers: Roadtrip programs will be presented with a level of language that is accessible for all grades and offer a real-world connection to the Ontario Science and Technology curriculum at many grade levels. The themes explored in this session may be most relevant for grades 6-12. The [Great] Lakes Roadtrip is presented by the Toronto Zoo’s Great Lakes Program (GLP) and Turtle Island Conservation (TIC). For over 20 years, the Great Lakes Program has provided free conservation programming to members of the public and students across Ontario.
