This is the full vinyl rip of the Strictly From Hunger 1968 test pressing mix — as released in 2018 by Now-Again Records as part of their deluxe 2LP Now-Again Reserve edition.    • Vinyl Rips of my OG Records   This is LP1 of that set — a proper reissue of the withdrawn 1968 test pressing mix, featuring extended tracks, alternate takes, and a much heavier, fuzzier mix than the edited 1969 album. 🎸 Guitarist Ed King (Strawberry Alarm Clock, later Lynyrd Skynyrd) contributed to these sessions, but most of his parts were removed from the original LP due to legal concerns. At the time, Strawberry Alarm Clock was suing their management, and Hunger’s manager didn’t want to get dragged in. 📍 Recorded May 1968 at Living Sound Recorders in Arcadia, California. 💿 Released in 2018 on Now-Again Records – NA 5163-LP (LP1: 1968 Mix / LP2: 1969 Album) 🧠 The first reissue of this 1968 mix appeared on Void Records in 1998 (VOID 08).
