In this video, Yen shares her experience of recovering from ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder), previously known as Selective Eating Disorder. She talks openly about how her world with food used to be very limited, and how she gradually moved from eating a small, safe range of foods to becoming someone who genuinely enjoys trying new things and exploring what food can offer. Yen also reflects on some of the deeper shifts she experienced during her recovery, including: – Understanding and healing her relationship with food – Finding self-compassion and developing her self-care toolkit – Getting to know who she really is, beyond the eating disorder – Connecting with her core values and what matters most And, in a lovely lighter moment, she shares what she’d do if she won the lottery. This is a gentle and honest account of recovery, growth, and reconnecting with life in a meaningful way.
