SAME-SEX MARRIAGE LEGAL IN ALL 50 STATES-JUNE 26, 2015

Update as of 10:05 am June 26th. SAME-SEX MARRIAGE IS NOW THE LAW IN ALL 50 STATES. Update as of 10:00 am June 25th. No decision announced today on SSM. I am hoping it comes tomorrow which will be 2 years to the day since Prop8 and Doma were overturned by SCOTUS. I am posting this several days prior to our Supreme Count ruling which I know will be challenged for decades. I believe that all the time, effort and money fighting my predicted outcome will be in vain. The only issue here is love for each other as human beings. It is difficult for me to accept the fact that it has taken this long for us to come to this place in history. Shouldn't we be better by now then our mistakes have taken us for decades? We made laws which gave protection and rights to most many years ago but gave no consideration to anyone other than those THOUGHT AT THE TIME TO BE 'NORMAL'. GUESS WHAT?... It may seem like some are different but when pinch comes to shove we are ALL THE SAME and 'ALL' SHOULD BE TREATED AS SUCH. I have been afraid my entire life. Life experiences made me a pessimist and not an optimist. But, I tell you now that I WILL BE an OPTIMIST in this ruling because I know it to be the only one which will take us to the place we are 'ALL" meant to be...SOMEDAY :-) p.s. I have always thought positively of opposite sex-marriage. I celebrated it and I hope FINALLY that same-sex marriage will be viewed as it should be by all. We owe that to each other.
