You have some questions about vitamin B6, and if it helps with ovulation, and to increase your chances of getting pregnant. You mentioned that you're currently taking a prenatal vitamin that has 104% of the daily allowance of vitamin B6, and that is sufficient. Vitamin B6 is found in many of the foods we eat each day like meats, whole grains, veggies, and nuts. And so chances are that with diet and the vitamin that you're taking, you're getting enough. Actually the daily recommended amount for a pregnant woman is 1.9mg, and you mentioned that the prenatal vitamin that you have has even more than that. So again, what you're taking should be sufficient. If you have more questions about it, talk with your doctor. But generally speaking, you can have too much of a good thing, so it's never good to double up on vitamins and take multiple kinds, because you could be getting too much of certain things. If you have any other questions for me in the future, feel free to ask them on our Facebook page at / intermountainmoms , and recommend us to your friends and family too.
