Hiking Moel Siabod in Wales

An 8 mile hike and scramble to the summit of Moel Siabod in Wales. It was a lovely clear day so I made my way to Snowdonia in Wales to tackle the awesome Deaer Ddu ridge and Moel Siabod circular. There were some truly breath taking views into the distance of Snowdon, Tryfan and many more mountains on the Snowdonia range. A lovely day to get some fresh air and hiking done. I managed to squeeze into a lay-by parking space opposite the main car park. I arrived at 10.30am and there wasn't a single space so be aware, as I say for most of my hikes, to arrive around 9.30am to grab a space. The parking postcode is LL24 0DT and it is free to park. The route I took is available on All Trails and involves a Grade 1 Scramble. There isn't a lot of exposure as long as you stick to the left side as you ascent the ridge.
