These are the top stories for today's Konkani Prime Bulletin:- 1- Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that Government is in process of adopting a policy decision or to make changes in the existing legislation in a bid to regularize irregularities. He said that illegal constructions will not be regularized. Sawant Chaired a High Powered Committee Meeting regarding the Removal of Illegal Structures along the Roads following the order of the High Court in the presence of Revenue Minister Atanasio Monserrate, Law & Environment Minister Aleixo Sequeira, Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte, Advocate General & Secretaries. Sawant further said that clear directions have been issued to authorities to ensure henceforth no illegal constructions on govt land or communidade or road side. Revenue Minister Babush Monserrate said that government has decided to form committee under Secretary Revenue to review HC order and recommend a new legislation to protect the affected parties. 2- Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that Goa is very much safe in terms of women's safety. He said that some migrants living in the state are involved in incidents. "70k tenants were verified in the last 2 months; police will now start verification of temporary labourers from IDC areas" said Sawant 3-High-Level Enquiry Committee has authentic information and documents pertaining to the alleged paper leak at Goa University. As per the order, the information should be submitted by affidavit in a sealed cover to Dr. Gervasio S. F. L. Mendes, Liaisoning Officer, Office of Additional Director, DHE either personally or by speed post on or before April 1, 2025.  Goa government had constituted high-level enquiry consisting of Former Bombay HC Judge R.M.S Khandeparker as it's Chairman, Former DIG Bosco George, Former GU Registrar Dr Radhika Nayak as members & Professor M.R.K. Prasad as member secretary to conduct inquiry in alleged paper leakage by GU faculty member. 4- Forest department officials have detained four individuals for their alleged involvement in smuggling Khair wood near Curti. The officials seized wood worth approximately Rs 2 lakhs in the operation. In addition to the wood, authorities also confiscated a mini tempo and two motorcycles used in illegal transportation. The forest department has intensified efforts to crack down on illegal wood smuggling activities, and this operation serves as a significant step in curbing such crimes.  5- The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has announced the results for the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) examination, with an overall pass percentage of 90.64%. A total of 17,686 students appeared for the examination, out of which 16,030 students successfully passed. In terms of gender-wise performance, girls outperformed boys again, with a pass percentage of 92.42%, while boys recorded a pass percentage of 88.69%.
