Official statement on the removal of the video: As some of you are aware, there have been some claims about similarities between our latest YouTube video of the DM1 Pro mouse and one posted by another content creator, Rocket Jump Ninja. After viewing the original video myself for the first time and discussing further with our reviewer + editing team, it has been decided that there were indeed too many similarities and the video has been pulled out of respect for RJN and the work he put into his content. It should be noted that while our reviewer was admittedly influenced by Rocket Jump Ninja, the content contained in our video was representative of HWC’s quality, methodology and attention to detail. While RJN has expressed his hope that we could keep the video live, after seeing where our reviewer’s influences were so heavily drawn from, we cannot in good conscience do so. Our viewers expect better from HWC and in the future we will be far more diligent about insuring content from our creators is uniquely “Hardwarecanucks” before going forward with script approval.
